During an interview with Hotterfly, when Kalki Koechlin was asked about the rules for handling a breakup, she shared her experiences and told what worked for her when she decided to end the relationship. The actress also said that if she had to break up, she would sleep with someone else.
The actress said, “I have had both types of relationships, I think it is definitely better to make a clean break but it is very difficult. So, when you want to break up just be very confident… I have Another tactic when I was very young was to sleep with someone and then tell him, then he would break up with me, that’s it.

Kalki Koechlin married director Anurag Kashyap. However, the couple separated in 2015. After this, Kalki was in a long-term relationship with Guy Hershberg and then they got married and have a daughter who was born in 2020. In the same interview, Kalki had mentioned that there was a time when she was dating many people simultaneously.
Kalki said, “Now that I am married and have a child, I don’t think I have got time for that nonsense, because you don’t even have time to see your partner. But I think so It happens in the past, and I think there are rules for having affairs. I know people who have managed to have a lifestyle and it’s very different from mine. Period, I was very young, I had no interest in settling down, so this idea was fine but just as an experiment.
